ViaSat High Assurance Filters are Cross Domain Solution (CDS) products that act as standalone, high assurance devices to enable the filtering of messages from one security classification to another. These trusted filters solve air gap challenges encountered by defense and government organizations by securely permitting data to pass between different security classification levels or domains of a network.
Specifically designed for filtering automated, machine-to-machine message traffic, ViaSat High Assurance Filters are built for your standalone tactical CDS applications. The filters are based on the ViaSat PSIAM™ Cryptosystem architecture to deliver rule enforcement in a secure, tamper-protected environment.
These trusted filters insure that only the data desired to be passed is permitted to cross the classification boundary. When positioned in an application network, ViaSat High Assurance Filters ensure that no traffic crosses from one security domain to another without going through filter review. Each trusted filter, including the HAF-100, HAF-100A, and HAF-200, can filter one-way and two-way message traffic.
